Sacraments
The sacraments are the source of life for the Catholic community. At Trinity Catholic High School, we strive to provide a meaningful and engaging sacramental life for the community, students, faculty and staff.
Eucharistic Celebrations
Our chaplain, Fr. Michael Houser, celebrates Mass at 7:30 every Monday morning in Trinity’s chapel. Available community members, faculty, students and staff are in attendance.
The Trinity Catholic School student body, faculty and staff join in all school liturgies. Father Houser as well as guess celebrants preside at these liturgical celebrations. Students, faculty and staff participate as lectors, cantors, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, gift bearers, servers and greeters.
Liturgical celebrations are the product of planning by Campus Minister, Eileen Goeke and the students of the Campus Ministry Team, the music of Abe Campbell and the Trinity Catholic School choir as well as the creative art work and decorations of art teacher, Kevin Cook and his students and librarian, Gail Hoffmann. Vince Drake and Tim Quinn regularly set up chairs, stage altar, and technical equipment needed for each celebration.
For the 2009-2010 school year, these celebrations include:
- Friday, August 28
Opening of School / Mission and Service Liturgy - Friday, September 25
Mass of the Spirit (Homecoming) - Tuesday, November 24
Thanksgiving Liturgy (Grandparent’s invited) - Thursday, December 17
Advent Liturgy - Wednesday, February 17
Ash Wednesday Liturgy - Tuesday, March 16
Trinity Feast Day Liturgical Celebration and ACA Presentation - Friday, April 16

Marian Mass
In addition to liturgical celebration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered on an individual basis to students as scheduled by Fr. Houser. Group Reconciliation Prayer Services as well as an opportunity for individual Reconciliation take place during the Advent and Lenten Seasons.
Grandparent's Day
“A child needs a grandparent, anybody's grandparent, to grow a little more securely into an unfamiliar world.” ~Charles and Ann Morse
Every year at Trinity, we devote one day solely to the Grandparents of this school. We ask each student to invite their Grandparents to join us for an all school Mass, and then donuts and coffee afterwards.
We focus on Grandparents, Parents, Guardians, and any other people who help support the students here at Trinity achieve in academics, sports, and life.
Reconciliation and Penance Services
In addition to liturgical celebration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered on an individual basis to students as scheduled by Fr. Houser. Group Reconciliation Prayer Services, as well as an opportunity for individual Reconciliation, take place during the Advent and Lenten Seasons.
